The Comforting Rhythm of Drinking Tea

Please note, this post contains affiliate links.

I am a long-time coffee drinker. While I do love my coffee, I just don’t like drinking too much of it. Typically, I will stick to one in the morning. I also avoid drinking coffee after 2pm as it can interfere with my sleep.

Enter tea, the comforting hot drink alternative later in the day. While yes, there is caffeine in black tea the intensity on my body is nowhere near drinking a coffee.

Truly, my afternoon tea has become one of my favourite moments of the day. I think because sitting down to drink a cup of tea is so comforting. It also fits so nicely into my slower paced lifestyle.

Each afternoon I enjoy a calming tea ritual. My children will play while I enjoy my tea. It’s a lovely moment to sit down and have a moment of calm.  If it’s a nice day, I will take it outside.

Tea Products I Adore

Below are my curated external shopping links for tea-related products I adore. Many I use or are on my wishlist, and I hope to collect.

Tea Kettles

These beautiful kettles I would boil myself each day for the beauty!

Tea Pots

I love the idea of hosting tea and cake. Here are some of the beautiful tea pots I have curated that I would love to collect and offer tea to visitors to my home.

Tea Cups

Most days I’m drinking tea for myself, so I can collect individual designs as well as matching sets. Here are some beautiful individual tea cups (some with matching pots), but you may choose to get the number you need for a set!

Tea Leaves

While my favourite go-to is likely an English Breakfast with a dash of milk, I love how diverse tea is. I’ve recently been enjoying a sticky date rooibos. In the evenings, I will enjoy a herbal tea with honey. The possibilities are endless! Here are some tea products that I enjoy or would like to try.

In Closing

In the comments below, let me know if you’re also a tea drinker, and what your tea of choice is? Are you an Earl Grey fan or perhaps Chamomile is more your thing?

I’d love it if you joined my email list below to stay connect for future slow and comforting posts. You may also like to check out my post on grandma hobbies for slow living, since hosting for tea is included!

Thanks for visiting.
